SP Food Solutions Limited is owned by Sarah Peasgood who has worked in the UK food manufacturing industry since graduating in 1989.
As a Masters’ Degree qualified Food Scientist and development professional Sarah understands how food manufacturers work and how to be a successful supplier to the Retail and Food Service sectors having supported a range of clients from privately owned businesses through to blue-chip corporations.
Sarah’s development expertise has been achieved through years of solid hands on experience working as a Technologist and at Management level within NPD, both in the kitchen environment creating concepts alongside professional chefs as well as scaling these up through the production trial process leading to successful product launches.
Many of Sarah’s products can be seen on the supermarket shelves, in motorway services and forecourts, high street coffee chains and on board airlines as a result of range extensions and winning new business for clients.
A passion for food combined with commercial focus and technical knowledge, Sarah has the ability to ‘hit the ground running’ for a range of challenging projects enabling businesses to successfully meet critical path deadlines and commercial targets whilst building strong customer relationships for the future.
Completing Retailer specifications via their web based systems is a specialist area in which Sarah has significant expertise and relevant training, often managing the entire artwork critical path, working closely with both client, copywriter and legal teams and printers to successfully meet Pack Copy deadlines.
Sarah has excellent contacts within the chilled and ambient food sectors including ingredients, sauces, sandwiches, ready meals, meat, poultry, fresh produce, bakery and packaging.
